Learn more about the deeper benefits of Roughhousing with young children with Valerie Baadh Garrett and her guest, Edmund Knighton. This program will offer some practical and effective tips for building these healthy movement and play activities with your young ones. Whether you are a parent, an educator, or a therapist, Dr. Knighton will enhance your understanding of how the healthy relationships between the child and the other(s) develop with these playful and sensory-rich interactions, why we should do more of them, and how to explore the dynamics of risk, challenge, and strong touch they invite. The free program includes How To Teach Wrestling for Children K-12 by Dr. Knighton, one of our five handouts for those attending the live program.
Can’t make it at 5 PDT on November 2? Register anyway and get the link to the recording of the program. Handouts will be available in our online store.
Please know that, during the live broadcast, you can write in any questions that may arise for you and I will magically see them on my screen and we will try to answer them live or afterwards in a private email.
