We invite you to our webinar during International Fall Prevention Week, always the first week of fall.
Not just for our elders, every body can benefit from Agile Aging’s uniquely integrated movements and agility activities. This webinar, our first for our Agile Aging community, is suitable for anyone interested in increasing vitality and mobility with gentle yet effective movement sequences. We will share activities and choreographies that founder Valerie Baadh Garrett has developed in her live classes and coaching since 2007. These include healthy movements to enhance balance, stability, and mobility of:
For instructors or caregivers of elders or fragile populations, Valerie will also offer tips on adapting the gestures to suit various stages of aging and health.
Inspired by the Design for Agile Aging course at Stanford University, the principles of Spacial Dynamics®, the science of mindfulness, imagery, and flow, the activities of Agile Aging can benefit any body.
For more information about Agile Aging, visit the website at www.agileaging.org.
This free program, like our other webinars, will last 60 minutes, including a time for each participant to ask questions directly to Valerie to answer either live during the broadcast or privately afterwards. After the live broadcast, each registered participant will receive a free edited file of the program for personal reference before the program becomes available for purchase or as a pay-per-view on our Vimeo channel.
