Date(s) - Sep 22, 2016
5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
NOTE: We changed the date to 9/22 to allow us more time to do some new videography for this program. You’ll appreciate it!
Join master movement teacher Valerie Baadh Garrett as she leads a seminar with Key Principles for action games, and then shares direct application of those principles with some of the fun and integrative movement games for young children, with insights on just how to lead them, why they’re important, and the nuances of each subtle gesture. All games are supported by video and print handouts available for free. Can’t make the program at 5 on a Thursday? No problem! Register anyway and you’ll receive a copy of the edited program and handouts about a week afterwards.
Games we’ll feature are:
A special seasonal inclusion is Farmer Brown from Bungalow Town (with a pumpkin!), Mix a Pancake, Jim Jim Joe (and the true story behind it), Here We Come On Our Ponies, Old Miss Sally, The Pirate Ship, and Planting Cabbages, all from our book, Games Children Sing and Play, available here with CD.
Forgot to register? No worries. All our webinar recordings are available as VOD on our Vimeo channel, The Movement Academy Project, and the handouts for each program can be purchased for just a few dollars as downloads at our online store.
Register here. GoToWebinar will remind you a week beforehand, and then again an hour beforehand.
